![]() Happily, EAW got a new lease on life the following year, courtesy of "TK" from Longbow I and II fame, and the rest is history. ![]() The title became known as the virtual prince of vaporware, second only to the true king at the time, Falcon 4. At E3 a year later, it seemed the game was pretty much in the same state of development, other than some additional rudimentary 3Dfx support (same pestering questions from me, but things were not looking good). I remember spending more time at the Microprose booth than any other, pestering the hell out of the producer. Needless to say, when I got my very first glimpse of 1943: European Air War back in '96 during E3, I was ecstatic they were producing a sequel.
